Women's WILD Weekend

We had our first ever Women's WILD Weekend in Peoria a few weeks ago. We have done this a few times in Utah, but wanted to see how it would go over in the midwest. Since Dale's parents have a Wild at Heart retreat center on thier property we thought it was a perfect opportunity to try it out! It turned out that we had a small group of women, but what a group! We had an amazing time doing crazy outdoor stuff like paintball, 4-wheeling, shooting, etc and a rich time in God's Word learning how to be "WILD" for God (Willing, Interpersonal, Life-giving, and Devoted). A good friend from Utah came out to speak at the retreat and we were so blessed by her insight and passion about being wild for God. Thanks for coming Stacy!! rachel led worship for us, what a blessing! Her heart for the Lord and amazing (I mean AMAZING!) voice was a treat!

Summer Fun!

So I know it has been decades since I have posted....sorry! We were in Utah for 2 1/2 weeks then came home to plan a women's WILD weekend retreat the very next weekend, so I haven't had a second to sit down and get these pics organized and posted. In any case here I am!

We had a fun time in Utah, super busy, but it was nice to see friends and family and catch up. We spent a week at Bear Lake with my family then a week in SLC visiting family and friends. We were able to catch Dale's aunt and uncle from South Africa who were visiting The USA and Canada for 2 months also, which was a treat. Below are some pics from the trip. Also, at the end are some trips of the Peoria county fair. We went there days before we left on our trip and Gabe loved it! Amazing how places like "the fair" take on a totally different meaning with kiddos!
