Gabe's First Bike Race!

SERIOUSLY have you EVER seen anything soooo cute???!!! We decided to join Dale on a bike race and brought gabes bike along when they asked if wanted to ride in the kid race...sure, why not!! Ha, he had a ball and everyone thought he was the cutest thing ever....because he is!!

It was super rainy and wet....you know that midwest "it never stops raining all day" kind of rain. But we had a ball and went to the John Deere Pavillion afterwards :).

Dale's 40th Birthday

Nothing like being more than a month behind on posts! Oh so much to post....but I am committed to posting in order! :). So even though Dale's birthday was March 24th......I get to re-celebrate now ! :). So....this was the BIG 40 for Dale! Wow....who would have guessed that I was married to a 40 yr old??!! So, we had a super fun filled week planned! First off.....Verne, Hally, Hank and Wyatt showed up at our door Thursday night from SLC...a total surprise for Dale! Then on Friday morning we all slept in, hung out in our jammies, ate yummy egg souffle and surprised him with flight lessons! So this is how it went.....we asked him to put in a DVD ("I just can't figure it out!" I said) and it was flight lessons...then the boys came out with a candy bar poster (so Prom, I know....I was giddy writing it!) and a gift certificate. He was ohhhhh, soooo excited! The thank you included lots of kisses and hugs :). Then we had a small dinner party on Sunday with handful of friends out at his parents house. We were able to pull of all the surprises with out a hitch and it was great fun!

So below are the only pictures I took (bad wife!).....but thankfully our friend who happens to be a photographer was at the party and was snapping pics like crazy! She is sending us a CD, so I may post some later because they are totally awesome!
